Dennis Smith, 68, of Everson, said he looked up to his more mature sister and was happy of how she dealt with her Alzheimer’s prognosis — “that she place it out there and she was very brave about it.”
He remembers his sister’s “strength, her persona and her laughter. She was caring and just a excellent close friend.
“She was very gregarious and outgoing,” he explained.
