Manchester United are continuing to look for ways to challenge for the Premier League title.
Although there is no substitute for hard work on the training ground, the summer transfer window is a period that can make or break a season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is in his third summer as boss, overseeing preparations after finishing second to local rivals Manchester City last season and going without a trophy once again.
With a deal already agreed for long-time target Jadon Sancho, numerous names have been frequently cropping up and in the frame for who comes in next.
Due to protests towards the end of last term, the Glazer family and outgoing Executive vice-Chairman Ed Woodward are under pressure to deliver significant signings in the window despite the impact of the global pandemic.
Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest transfer news from Old Trafford.

Pogba price set
United have reportedly set a price tag of £50 million on Paul Pogba this summer.
French newspaper L’Equipe recently reported that Paris-Saint Germain would test the Red Devils’ resolve with an offer in the coming weeks.
Now they claim that the Old Trafford hierarchy want just over half of what they originally paid to bring Pogba back five years ago (£89m) in order to sell.
The 28-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract and United will be keen not to lose him on a free like they did in 2012 and the outlet say that PSG are not put off by Pogba’s new valuation.
Reports have suggested that talks between the Frenchman’s current employers and his entourage have taken place regarding a new deal, but they are not believed to be advanced following his impressive showings at Euro 2020.
Premier League rivals in for Camavinga
Chelsea are set to rival United in the race to sign Rennes starlet Eduardo Camavinga.
The Blues’ director and former goalkeeper, Petr Cech, formerly played for the French club and still has close friends at the club.
Cech helped bring in goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from the Ligue 1 side last summer, so is looking to lure the 18-year-old to west London, according to French football expert Julien Laurens.
The Red Devils have been heavily linked with a move for Camavinga, who is also entering the final year of his contract in France and his side could also be forced into a sale in order to recoup a fee.
Kane not a priority
United are not interested in a deal for Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, per the Express.
Old Trafford has been mooted as a potential next destination for the England captain, who reportedly wants out of Spurs this summer.
It is said that the Red Devils are instead prioritising a move for a centre-back and central midfielder, with Raphael Varane believed to be the club’s primary target following Sancho’s arrival.
